Our History
Slush King was founded in 1965 by Fred Nolan and has proudly operated as a mobile vendor ever since, serving our signature homemade slush and freshly prepared festival foods. In 2020, we expanded by opening a walk-up window at our East Boston location, where we now offer our homemade slush—featuring many all-natural flavors. We also serve our own artisanal gelato and premium soft-serve ice cream. Slush King continues to operate pushcarts on Boston Common and participates in festivals throughout New England, serving everything from sausage and peppers to fried dough and fresh-squeezed lemonade alongside our frozen treats.
